Online School

These kids are students at the Jewish School on Computer. This special school was set up five years ago to offer a Jewish education to children who don’t have a Jewish day school nearby. Kids learn here from five years old until high school.

Here’s Mrs. Chaya Margolin the school principal. Hi Mrs. Margolin. Can you tell us a little about your school? Sure. This year we’re going to have 200 students and 35 teachers from places as close to home asBrooklyn Texas andCalifornia and as distant asNigeria Singapore Finland Puerto Rico andAustralia. Our school year is based on the traditional September throughJune school calendar. Our classes start at three different times of the day which means that whichever time zone you’re in one of the times will suit you.
