Who’s Going to Save Danny’s Animals?

I’ve always been jealous of my friend Danny. Although that’s not actually quite true — Danny isn’t exactly my friend, and I’m not exactly jealous of him because I know Hashem gives each of us what we need — but I still think it would be fun if I had what Danny has.

Who’s Going to Save Danny’s Animals?
Danny lives just down the alley from us. His younger brother Chaim is in the same class as me so I see a good deal of him. But I don’t see so much of Danny ’cuz he’s almost never home. He spends most of his spare time looking after his donkey goat chickens horse rabbits guinea pigs chickens pigeons turtles and mice! Huh? Sounds a bit weird right? Well maybe. But for Danny it’s normal. That’s where being jealous-but-not-really comes in. Ever since he was a kid Danny has had this thing about animals. Or maybe I should say animals have this thing about Danny. They just can’t leave him alone!
