Succah Stars

Succah Stars
A succah star is made from special colorful papers which are folded cut into designs and intricately woven together. Kits are sold in various places and the designs don’t always turn into a star — they might be flowers for example. Mrs. Chaya Suri Kleinman from Brooklyn New York actually makes her own designs and packages them in kits called Stars with Chayshik. Mrs. Kleinman’s company name is a play on her initials — ches shin kuf — and also encompass her philosophy of art: that one should have cheshek (desire) to make things especially things that will be hanging in such a kadosh place as a succah.
