Chevron’s Capsule System Shidduchim  

Chevron, one of the most prestigious yeshivos in Eretz Yisrael, is dealing with the restrictions of the capsule system they’ve put in place according to Health Ministry guidelines, while the bochurim are doing their best to learn in these unusual conditions.

But what about shidduchim? The yeshivah has hundreds of bochurim of marriageable age, and under the guidelines, they aren’t allowed to go out to restaurants or hotel lobbies.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and so the yeshivah has come up with an original idea: They’ve rented an attractive villa with many rooms and several separate entrances, plus a spacious garden. All meetings are held in the same venue, with enough space for privacy and discretion.

Each day, yeshivah representatives refill the refrigerator with drinks and the candy dishes with snacks, leaving refreshments, order, and hopefully a bit of mazel for the visitors.
