First I’ll tell you about my boat. No tiny fishing boat this but a huge boat weighing over 100 tons with a crew of ten men. There are over four million commercial fishing vessels from simple sailing boats to the commercial trawlers like ours. Ours is a freezer trawler which means it has a huge freezer space where we put all the fish we catch. Wet-fish trawlers store the fish “wet ” or fresh which means they have to get back to shore the same day so the fish can be sold fresh. The biggest trawlers factory trawlers are entire factories on water where the fish are sorted processed packaged and frozen all on the ship.
