When Morah Tzemach told her fifth grade about making a Tu B’Shevat festival for the entire school, including parents, Avigayil’s green eyes sparkled. And when Morah assigned her the topic of nuts, assorted ideas swirled in her mind faster than a load of laundry spinning in a washing machine.
What could she do to make her nut project come alive? Chewing her pen top thoughtfully Avigayil debated — should she paint or make a model? Well no matter what she decided there was one thing Avigayil knew. Hers would be a work of art that would wow every single pair of eyes making them widen in admiration. Because if there was one thing Avigayil knew how to do well it was art. And maybe she dreamed after the girls saw her talent shine maybe they would even want to be her friend.
