Mindi slouched up the stairs to her room on the second floor threw herself down on the bed and called her best friend Devorah. “You sound happy ” Devorah joked. “Is someone getting married?” “It’s not that I’m not happy!” Mindi exploded. “It’s just that…” Mindi was happy to help her mother. Now that super-daughter Yehudis was super-busy getting married and the next four kids in the Green house were boys everyone relied on Mindi to pitch in. “I got it!” Devorah said going into detective mode. “You think they’ll forget!”
