In 1927, Shlomo Angel began buying flour inDamascus and selling it inJerusalem. He then bought a bakery in Bayit Vegan and asked his father and three brothers to join him.

 Angel’s Bakery isIsrael’s largest bakery. There are four Angel’s bakeries in the country inJerusalem Lod Netivot and Kfar Choresh.

When Angel’s began they had 25 workers and baked 8500 loaves a day. Today they have 1800 workers and bake more than 500 000 breads and rolls daily. It’s not just one kind of bread either. Angel’s has several hundred types of breads rolls challos and pita as well as cakes and pastries. And don’t worry if you don’t live inIsrael; you can find Angel’s products in theUSA Denmark theUK France andBelgium.
