To my dear Shloimy!

You are learning in the yeshivah of Rabi Shimon… how special! When you were here, I would write to you at the beginning of a zeman to wish you well, and I’m continuing to that now as well.

Who are you learning with? What are the sedorim like? What masechta?

Here, I thought of you every single morning when I davened Veha’arev Nah, as you asked us to. You worried about the nisyonos of This World, and all you wanted was to taste the sweetness of Torah, so I continue to daven for you by Veha’arev Nah.

It must have been strange to be there already when you weren’t expecting that. Here it’s also strange, the kids talk about you all the time. It’s hard for Abba to see all the other bochurim starting the zeman and Savta so misses your visits, with the warm smile and good cheer you brought her every time you came in.
