Here’s is a salad perfect for a milchig Shavuos seudah. Prepare the dressing and vegetables separately and mix them together just before you serve the salad. If you have extra dressing, it's yummy with cut up veggies. Enjoy!
Dressing Ingredients:
1/3 c. low-fat mayonnaise
1/3 c. plain yogurt
1/3 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
2-3 Tbsp. fresh parsley chopped or 2-3 tsp. dried
2-3 Tbsp. fresh dill chopped or 2-3 tsp. dried
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. paprika
Dash salt and pepper to taste
Salad Ingredients:
Head of romaine or iceberg lettuce checked (get an adult to help) and chopped
3-4 cucumbers diced
Approx. 20 cherry tomatoes halved
½ red onion diced
2 cups “Cracker Crisp” – sour cream and onion flavored (also known as Nishnushim or Nishnush crackers)
