“When I added that drop of ink, I was concentrating on the fact that Chazal say that every Jewish soul is represented by a letter in a sefer Torah. If one drop of ink is missing, it isn’t complete. So, too, the Jewish People is not complete without the involvement of every single Jew. When every last Jew is present, only then will the sefer Torah of the Jewish People be truly whole.”

—Rav Michel Twerski shlita, the Milwaukee Rebbe, and nasi of the Milwaukee Kollel.

Surrounded by the community he built and family and friends from near and far, who had come to celebrate the completion of the sefer Torah, the Rebbe recited the brachah of shehecheyanu and relayed this message to the crowd.
