Life isn’t easy for anyone, but when even walking is difficult, life brings additional challenges — and wisdom. We recently spoke with an eight-year-old girl from Los Angeles named Deena Stolz, whose father walks with the help of crutches.
Mishpacha Junior: Hello. Thank you for speaking with us Deena. Can you tell us a bit about your father’s disability?
Deena: My father was born with a health problem. It is not serious but the joints in one leg are very sore and it limits his use of his leg. As a child he used to limp. As a teenager he used a cane to help him walk. Then about fifteen years ago when he was an adult and things got harder he began to use two crutches and an ankle brace.
