Overexposure to the sun's rays may result in skin that's red and hot to touch, general fatigue, and mild dizziness. Treating a sunburn correctly is important, because proper care can help you control the lingering effects of the harmful UV rays. You need to act fast to alleviate the possibility of having blisters form, and to minimize horrible peeling and even scarring, freckles, and spots.

Instant relief is as close as your kitchen. With most sunburns a home remedy will help minimize the pain and put you on the road to recovery. Whether it’s milk or tea cooking some ingredients can equal instant sunburn relief. Remember to keep your body well hydrated by drinking plenty of water — that will also help your skin heal faster.  Some of the soothers may dry out your skin so use a water-based moisturizer afterward. And keep in mind that the sooner you treat a burn the less damage will be inflicted.
