What Is Nosh?
Nosh is defined as “a snack or light meal.” Snacks come in all forms — fruit nuts or packaged and processed food. A snack can be an apple a chocolate candy bar a spicy pickle a pack of pretzels or anything else you nibble on between meals.

Popcorn — When ancient Mexican tribes discovered that a certain kind of popcorn would pop when heated they designed the world’s first popcorn “machine”: sand heated by the fire into which they would add the popcorn kernels.
Lollipops — In ancient Egypt people would crystallize nuts and fruits in honey and eat them off sticks. Later in medieval Europe sugar was an expensive luxury item that few could afford. Candy was made into hard blocks and sold to the nobility on fancy handles.
