It was a dark, cloudy morning when Tuvia, the Captain, and Oliver awoke the next day.

“I’m going to find the ship searching for you, my friend.” Oliver immediately began packing up his small boat. “Hopefully they have not traveled far, and I will be back soon.”

“Thank you, Oliver!” Tuvia beamed with joy.

“What about the panther?” The Captain eyed Hafthor nervously.

“He won’t bother you.” Oliver hopped into his boat and pushed himself off the beach into the glistening sea. “Who knows, maybe he’ll end up protecting you if you run into any trouble. Now stay here and enjoy the island. Help yourself to whatever you like.”
