My childhood was both idyllic and traumatic, depending on who you ask, which years you reference, and what mood you catch me in.

While some of my siblings say they walked out of our childhoods emptyhanded, I think I turned out great regardless, with an entire toolbox of capabilities and talents. And I left my childhood with a healthy respect for stability, health, and consistency.

Riding turbulent waves of drama, distrust, and sometimes even danger can do that to a girl.

I craved stability. I needed it. I valued it almost above all else. And Hashem blessed me with an incredible husband who met all of these criteria.
