Water

Water Everywhere and Not a Drop to Drink,The current drought in California is the worst in over 100 years, and though California borders the Pacific Ocean and has 840 miles (1,350km) of coastline, the saltwater can’t solve the crisis. How is the drought affecting life in California? Will it affect the rest of us? And can anything be done?

Water

Drought. The very word strikes fear into the human heart. Throughout history when rain didn’t fall for long periods of time it has meant disaster. Not only is there a lack of water to drink but the land dries up crops don’t grow food is scarce and people and animals die.

Drought isn’t just something you read about in history books and newspapers. s of mid-February 95 percent of the third-largest US state was suffering from severe lack of rain.

Everyone is affected. Without rain to scrub the air clean pollution reaches unhealthy levels. People can see pollution in the brown-tinged air.
