And your finished product — delicious as it may have been — had none of the depth of flavor the burst of color or the intensity of texture as any of our world’s luscious fruits. This world is a gift. Wherever you look we see a surge of goodness a torrent of Hashem’s greatness. Everywhere. Every day. Every place. If we look for it! But we must look because this is why Hashem designed all these delights — so that we recognize Hashem’s kindnesses and thank Him for them.
