Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chips plus dairy plus cookies — you have been forewarned: You won’t be able to stop at one! Many thanks to my sister-in-law Judy for this outstanding cookie.

 

YIELDS ABOUT 48 COOKIES

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 34 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3.4-oz (100-g) pkg vanilla pudding mix
  • 212 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 312-oz (100-g) bars Schmerling’s Rosemarie Harmony bars broken into small pieces

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Add in remaining ingredients except for the chocolate pieces. Beat well until combined. Add in chocolate pieces and mix. Drop by tablespoon onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 9–10 minutes then cool.
