Everything’s Bashert!

No one in the Reingold family was in any way pleased the day Tatty came home from work and told them the local branch of Sleep Easy was closing down. Within one month, he would be out of a job unless he accepted the firm’s offer of a transfer, as manager, to the Watervale branch miles away.

Everything’s    Bashert!
“Transfer!” cried Mommy. “We’d have to move!” “Transfer!” repeated Tova newly returned from sem. “We’d have to change shuls!” “Transfer!” echoed the seven-year-old twins Izzy and Donny. “We’d have to go to a new school!” Tatty wasn’t happy either. He loved his local shul and the rabbi’s shiurim and his chavrusa lived just around the corner The Reingold family had deep roots in this place. Mommy and Tatty stayed up well into the early hours discussing what they should do. What began with “How can we possibly move to Watervale?” eventually ended with “How can we possibly not move to Watervale?” It was Watervale or unemployment.
