I meet up with the crew and am surprised to discover such a large group of people at the filming today. There are cameramen Moshe and Zack actors Asher andBern director Rabbi Shmuli Rosenberg and his assistant Sheya and Leibie who is both actor and production assistant.
I also meet nine-year-old Caleb Fiveish’s costar in this segment. Caleb is here with his mother and grandmother who all woke up before dawn this morning in order to drive in fromBaltimore. Punctuality I discover is crucial to the filming process. Time is money.
It’s a chilly winter day and the park is virtually deserted except for our hardy staff. That’s good news for the filming crew who relish the peace and quiet. But it’s not such good news for me not quite realizing that we were going to stand outside in the cold for hours watching the same scene unfold over and over again.
